Gender Reveal ....

To tell you the truth, I couldn't wait to get to know our baby's gender. Although I knew I wanted to use neutral colours in the nursery, I wanted to know it to be able to call the baby by his/her name.
So today is the day of gender and name reveal.

These wonderful photos were taken by my wonderfully talented sister.

I hope you will like them.

It's a ...

... boy!

Welcome baby  Ákos.

Thankful ...

Even though we do not celebrate Thanksgiving in my country, I think it is important to take a break from time to time and think about what you are glad for having in your life.

Image result for thankful

So here is my list of what I am thankful for at this very moment:

1., My baby: I am thankful for having a healthy little baby growing under my heart.

2., My husband: He is more and more caring every day as he sees my bump growing. :)

3., My family:  Sometimes they are too much but I love them.

4., My friends' care.

5., My workmates: They make me feel good and tell me that I am a really pretty preggo even though I sometimes feel like a smaller whale. :)

6.,  Construction works in my house. It is a total mess right now but at least we have already started with them.

7., My sister's down-to-earth comments.

8., Opportunities I got through blogging.

9., My readers.

How about you?  What are your thankful for at this very moment?

Let me know.

Those first 5 months ...

I have been looking for the right words to share with you the most wonderful news in our lives for so long but I was really afraid that the time I shouted it out loud, something terrible would happen.
But while reading Jenessa Sheffield's wonderful pregnancy announcement I realized how lucky we were to  have our baby and to have concieved at first try. And that I should try and chase away those negative thoughts ASAP.

So here it is:
We are expecting a baby  and my due date is in March.

And now some answers for the most common questions:

How did you find out?
Well, I didn't really have to find it out as I was sure about it the first day. :)
After a few days my hormones started to play crazy and then it was no question anymore.

How about morning sickness?
Those first five months went by relatively easy for me. I only felt really sick twice. In the first few weeks I felt sick for about 2-3 minutes 30 minutes after taking my pregnancy vitamine but then I opted for another vitamine and the problem disappeared.
What I had problems with in the first two months was diarrhoea. However, with this I can still consider myself lucky as it always came in the late afternoon, after work.

How much weight have you gained until now?
I have gained about 4,5 kg - which my doctor says is a bit to much but as the baby is quite big as well, I don't worry about it.

How about your skin?
My facial skin was terrible in the first 2 months but now it is ok.

Do you use anything to prevent stretch marks?
I use Bi-Oil.

Can you go to work or do you need to stay at home?
As my pregnancy is not considered as a high risk one, I work normal hours.

What are your pregnancy cravings?
Haribo gummy bears :)

How long are you planning to stay at home after giving birth?
Again, I can consider myself really lucky that the social system in my country allows women to stay at home until the baby is 2 years old with statal support. Of course, the financial support is not as much as your salary but it is fantastic that  you can opt for staying at home.

If you have further questions, I am happy to answer them.
